During its initial years, Yüksel specialized particularly in piers, quays and ports and thus participated in the construction of one third of Turkish ports. Yüksel played an active role in the development of Turkey’s infrastructure through numerous contracts covering transportation, energy, environmental and industrial projects. Among the projects completed overseas are power plants, desalination plants, water storage terminals and various other infrastructural projects in Saudi Arabia. New commitments have been made for a dam and a university campus infrastructure in this country. The first sugar factory of Uzbekistan, Kabul - Kandahar and Kabul - Gardez Highways’ Reconstruction and Kabul U.S. Embassy Construction in Afghanistan, Bucharest Constanta Motorway (Fundulea - Lehliu section) in Romania are other examples of Yüksel’s contracts abroad.

Yuksel has commenced its operations in UAE in 2006. Two major road projects as listed below are already opened to traffic which were successfully executed by Yuksel.
